Meet Samantha

Career History

Samantha is an IAAP Accessible Document Specialist (ADS) and Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC). She is a seasoned digital accessibility professional, where she plays a pivotal role in shaping inclusive digital experiences across government platforms.

In her current role, Samantha co-leads workshops and training sessions aimed at improving accessibility practices across teams. Her sessions are known for being practical, engaging, and deeply informative, reflecting her commitment to both technical rigour and user empathy.

Samantha’s approach to accessibility is both strategic and hands-on. She advocates for comprehensive training—highlighting that true proficiency in accessibility requires study and practice. Her insights into the challenges faced by disabled users and her emphasis on lived experience over compliance alone underscore her user-centred philosophy.
